The operating principle of the GlucoDr auto system for determining blood sugar levels is based on measuring the electrical currents generated in the gold electrode of the test strip as a result of the reaction of glucose with reagents. Thanks to the capillary effect, the sample of the blood being tested enters the chamber of the test strip, where the reaction occurs. Glucose contained in the test blood sample reacts with glucose dehydrogenase and a mediator, after which an electric current occurs.
The current strength is proportional to the blood glucose concentration and is converted into an equivalent glucose concentration value using an algorithm programmed in the GlucoDr auto meter.
Test strips are designed to independently determine blood glucose levels.
GlucoDr test strips. auto™ A are for use with the GlucoDr meter only. auto™A and GlucoDr.™ auto (Model AGM-4000 made by All Medicus Co., Ltd.).
